What is the LGBTQ+ Community Directory?
Unfortunately, we live in a world where identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer (LGBTQ+) is often responded to with anger, fear, silence and sometimes even violence. Because of this hostile climate, it is critical that the LGBTQ+ community be able to find resources that are welcoming and safe.
The Community Directory helps to identify those businesses and service providers who serve the Panhandle LGBTQ+ community. Businesses and services providers listed on the online directory, have committed (via a written agreement) to create a safe and welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ patrons and employees. They will also display a Community Partner decal like the one shown below. To view the directory, click on the button below the decal.
Interested in joining the LGBTQ+ Community Directory?
Any business, organization and/or service provider who services the Nebraska Panhandle can join the directory by completing the LGBTQ+ Community Directory Agreement below.
