Community Closet
Panhandle Equality understands how incredibly unsafe it can be to go out in public to try on clothes when your gender identity or gender expression doesn't match your outward appearance. In order to meet this need, we offer support purchasing clothes and making returns.
The Community Closet provides vouchers to all LGBTQ+ individuals to shop for the items that make the most sense for their size and style.
Community Care Fund
The Community Care Fund is a monetary fund available for costs related to support for the LGBTQ community. This fund is available to help with the following expenses:
Travel expenses for doctor visits related to transitioning
Mental health care
Costs associated with legal name changes
Medical supplies related to transitioning
Hair removal procedures
Emergency housing needs
